This past weekend I moved into my new place. It is a small two bedroom house still here in Columbus. I loved my old place, but it so wonderful to have more space. At least I have places in which to store my stuff. I am definitely looking forward to having a small dinner party to celebrate. Some of you be on the lookout for your invitation.
I have some thoughts about our current political primary season. Will someone please tell the media pundits that we are SICK AND TIRED of them telling us why we should vote for their candidate. I am even including the Fox News Network. I firmly believe that we, as a people, could make an informed opinion if given the opportunity. Secondly, aren't you sick of all the coverage and it is only the first month of the election year. It just seems to me that as soon as one election ends, coverage of the next begins. I would just like to watch the news just once without having a political dissertation.
As most of you know, I consider myself a conservative financially and a moderate socially. I believe that one should vote for the candidate that best represents your core philosophy. I think we as a people have become lazy and want the pundits to tell us what the candidates say instead of looking into their platforms for ourselves. All I am asking of you is to live up to your civic responsibility and do your homework, look at the candidate's platforms and make an informed decision.

If you would like to see which candidate is best for you. Check out this website: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/poll.php?race_id=13
You answer some questions regarding issues and your concern for them and it best matches you with a candidate regardless of party. Kind of like eharmony but for voters.
